VERONICA'S Voice is a grassroots organization founded in 2000 by Kristy Childs, a survivor of commercial sexual exploitation, trauma and drug addiction. The initial funding was provided through the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health Systems.
To connect with American victims of commercial sexual exploitation (prostitution) of all ages, to encourage, educate and empower them to make lifestyle changes, which lead to recovery of their mind, body and spirit.
Dedicated to human rights and social change for American victims of commercial sex exploitation without voices.
VERONICA'S Voice educates and provides resources to help clients with options to assist them in leaving a life of prostitution, sexual exploitation, drug addiction and violence, and to transition into new lives free from abuse. Survivors direct the programs and work with the clients at the VERONICA'S Voice SAFE Center.

Our Safe Center is now located in the Midtown area, where we are more accessible via the Metro bus lines. Because our accomodations have changed, so have our needs.
